11 November 2021 06:22

JAKARTA – PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), the Mitra Keluarga Hospital managing company, would proceed with its buyback program of 85 million shares starting today until February 2022. Director of Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat, Joyce V Handajani, announced the news in the information disclosure, quoted Thursday (11/11).

It was mentioned that by far, MIKA had repurchased 82,455,600 shares of the targeted 85 million units for IDR 188.83 billion in total. “The company limited the shares purchasing price to IDR 2,500 each,” Handajani added.

With the said realisation, the remaining shares to be reclaimed in this round of buyback would amount to 2,544,400 shares. Once calculated, MIKA would allocate IDR 6.36 billion to complete the said corporate action.

As previously known before, MIKA had budgeted IDR 200 billion for the buyback of 85 million shares. The funds would come from the company’s internal cash, thus not leading to a revenue decline. (LK/ZH)
