TDPM is yet again sued for debt suspension by its partners

JAKARTA – PT Tridomain Performance Materials Tbk (TDPM) faces another lawsuit of Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU), filed twice by PT Mandiri Manajemen Investasi (MM) and PT Bata Merah Wisesa (BMW). Both lawsuits were recorded in the Central Jakarta Commercial Court on October 25 and November 2, 2021.

Harjono, President Director of Tridomain Performance Materials, claimed that the company had been present on the first trial of the BMW case on November 2 and the MMI case on November 9, 2021. “BMW had filed the second lawsuit under No.420/Pdt.Sus/PKPU/2021 PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst, while MMI’s were under No.421/Pdt.Sus/PKPU/2021/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst," Harjono further detailed in the information disclosure on Thursday (11/11).

Previously, the Commercial Court had denied MMI’s request under No.286/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst, signed on August 26, 2021, as did BMW’s request under No.286/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2021/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst.

It has been known that Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) had suspended TDPM’s trading rights in the stock exchange for the past six months until October 27, 2021. As of September 2021, TDPM’s shares amounted to 10,485,050,500 shares, 72.5% of which belonged to DH Corporation and 27.5% to public investors. (LK/ZH)
