JAKARTA – PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (MCAS), a digital products and e-commerce distributor, recorded 171.3% growth in its net profit in Q3 2021. It posted revenue of IDR 9.5 trillion, climbing from IDR 8.7 trillion reported in the same period last year. Director of M Cash Integrasi, Rachel Siagian, confirmed these gains in the press release, quoted Friday (19/11).

It was mentioned that the increased revenue resulted from additional distribution points, reaching 254,498 spots by September 2021 from 198,938 spots in June 2020. “The strong grip on the digital products market share shows the broad utility and depth of distribution infrastructures of MCAS group,” Siagian claimed.

In addition, there was also an increase in the digital product aggregator membership of 32.9%, shifting from 124,693 members to 165,698 members. Its advertising points also jumped from 9.373 points to 15,108 points, while the drop points for the newly launched business segment rose to 6,100 points.

However, MCAS reported declines in its gross profit and operating profit, from IDR 175.2 billion to IDR 146.2 billion and from IDR 102 billion to IDR 63.4 billion. These decreases were due to advancements in its marketing and promotion activities. Fortunately, the company was seen improving its working capital management. It was evident in the cash inflow that proliferated from IDR 66.7 billion in Q3 2020 to IDR 203 billion in Q3 2021. (LK/ZH)
