JAKARTA – PT Bank Bisnis Internasional Tbk (BBSI) aims to raise fresh funds of IDR 985.33 billion in its second rights issue scheduled for two weeks from now (6-10/12). In this corporate action, BBSI plans to offer 280,721,568 shares for IDR 3,510 each.
In the information disclosure released Wednesday (24/11), Susanti Krinawati, Corporate Secretary of Bank Bisnis Internasional, claimed that the entire proceeds of this rights issue would be channelled to strengthen its capital structure and would be utilised as additional capital. The ratio used in this rights issue is set to 1,035:96, which means that every 1,035 old shares would earn 96 rights for new shares.
PT Sun Antarnusa Investment (SAI), the ultimate shareholder of BBSI, would only exercise half of its rights that amounts to 16,979,937 shares. The remaining rights would be transferred to PT Sun Land Investama (SLI) and Sundjono Suriadi. SLI would then exercise all of its rights of 37,055,246 shares alongside SAI’s portions of 6.5 million shares. (LK/ZH)
