JAKARTA. PT Totalindo Eka Persada (TOPS), a construction company with a market capitalisation of IDR 1.77 trillion, had acquired a building and infrastructure construction contract for the Directorate General of Customs of South Kalimantan.

In its information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange earlier today (25/11), the management clarified that the said IDR 58.8 billion contract would be handled along with PT Masco Energi. The construction is projected to span 330 days plus a maintenance period of 180 days.

Salomo Sihombing, Director of TOPS, claimed that the company had numerously received a contract from the government. Indeed, previously, the company had taken up the Nagrak Stacked Houses project in Jakarta, the Office of Asset Recovery of General Attorney project, and the Polri Stacked Houses project in Jakarta.

“We are grateful to be still trusted based on our best quality to handle state projects,” Sihombing added.

Furthermore, Sihombing mentioned that TOPS would continue to join tender processes with a pipeline worth IDR 1 trillion until the year-end. One of the company’s strategies to secure several new contracts is to establish a new branch office in Sumatra and Kalimantan. (KR/ZH)
