JAKARTA. The sales and efficiency strategies implemented by PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) are said to boost its performance so that the said ceramic manufacturer projects to score growth in its net profit of 40% by the end of 2021.

Tandean Rustandy, President Director of Arwana Citramulia, explained that in order to attain the targeted growth, his company plans to apply sales strategies that would not burden their consumers by upping the selling price. Instead, it would expand its marketing in third-tier cities, like Kediri, Palopo, Lahat, and other smaller cities in Indonesia. “These areas are the pillars of our sales,” he claimed. However, even with this strategy ahead, ARNA’s projected sales growth would not reach 10%.

Thus, Rustandy continued, this year’s impressive sales number is supported by efficient productivity, which drives his company’s optimism in scoring the net profit increase of up to 40% by the end of this year.

Until September 2021, ARNA’s net sales were reported to reach IDR 1,885 trillion, climbing 16.94% from the gain in Q3 2020 of IDR 1,619 trillion. In the end, its net profit also shot up 56.8% year-on-year, hitting IDR 347.4 billion from IDR 221.5 billion. (AM/ZH)
