Having debuted for a month, BOBA is ready to distribute interim dividends

JAKARTA. PT Formosa Ingredient Factory Tbk (BOBA), the Boba King boba manufacturer, is set to pay out interim dividends of IDR 3.5 billion or IDR 3,029 per share.

Dewi Irianty Wijaya, Vice President Director of BOBA, explained that this plan was the decision made by the company’s board of directors. “It has been approved by the board of commissioners on November 19, 2021,” she further reaffirmed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation market is set to December 7, 2021, while the date for the cash market would be on December 9, 2021. Finally, the dividend disbursement would take place on December 28, 2021.

As of October 31, 2021, BOBA kept its unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 17.72 billion, while its total equity amounted to IDR 139.94 billion.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, BOBA only recently debuted in the stock exchange, officially listed on IDX on November 1, 2021. Offering 140 million shares to the public, the company gained fresh funds of IDR 39.20 billion in total.

In yesterday’s trading session (30/11), BOBA’s stock price was closed stronger by 0.81% or two points to IDR 248 per share. It showed some improvements after its initial slip-off during the early period of listing, plummeting 29.14% or 102 points from IDR 350 per share. (KR/ZH)
