Tjiwi Kimia sales went up by 14.49% in Q3 2021

JAKARTA. PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) recorded net sales growth of 14.49%, reaching USD 744.4 million in the end of Q3 2021.

Coinciding with the increased sales, its costs of sales also soared 13.31% to USD 640.7 million from USD 565.4 million in Q3 2020. In the end, TKIM scored USD 103.6 million in its gross profit, shifting 22.36% from USD 84.7 million. Meanwhile, the profit attributable to the parent company amounted to USD 175.6 million, slightly higher by 4.39% year-on-year (yoy) from USD 168.2 million.

Culture papers sales supported most of the company’s entire net sales by bringing USD 517.8 million. It was 5.12% yoy higher than USD 492.6 million. Meanwhile, industrial papers and other products sales contributed USD 226.5 million, soaring 43.7% from USD 157.5 million.

“The demands for our products are still promising up to 2022 as the emerging demands in the market for pulp-and-paper based products,” Suhendra Wiriadinata, President Director of TKIM, proclaimed, as quoted by Bisnis last week (23/11). (AM/ZH)
