08 December 2021 20:44

JAKARTA - PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk (YELO), a technology issuer in the field of communication technology equipment rental services, recorded a net revenue surge of IDR 13.1 billion in 9M-2021 or grew nearly 500% from a record net revenue of IDR 2, 2 billion in the same period last year (YoY). The company's largest revenue contribution came from digital product sales, which grew rapidly this year.

The President Director of YELO, Wewy Suwanto stated, “This year the company is expanding into the domestic digital product and data business. This step is part of the Company's strategy, which had experienced a decline in sales due to the Covid19 pandemic last year where all traveling activities stopped completely. The decision was quite successful where the Company posted a significant increase in terms of revenue in 2021. However, the gross profit and net profit of the Company are still the same as in 2020 because they are still bound by contracts with several suppliers including international data.

“YELO will focus on providing fiber optic-based fast Internet infrastructure and services. The company will develop its business especially in remote areas where internet connection is needed. In addition, YELO is also involved in the FTTH (Fiber to The Home) and home business. Meanwhile, for 2022, YELO will provide connections for travel in the domestic market using mobile and fixed lines.” said Wewy

For information, to support these efforts, YELO previously collaborated with PT Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk (KIOS) in order to build digital infrastructure, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Through this collaboration, the two companies hope to accelerate the application and use of Metaverse technology in Indonesia. (LM)
