Darya Varia transferred its portion in EBI to CMS Healthcare

10 December 2021 14:23

JAKARTA – CMS Healthcare Pte Ltd officially takes over shares of PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia (EBI), a subsidiary of PT Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk (DVLA), today (10/12). Corporate Secretary of Darya Varia, Widya Olivia Tobing, announced the news in the information disclosure quoted today (10/12).

“The company has no affiliation with CMS Healthcare,” Tobing reaffirmed.

EBI is DVLA’s subsidiary known by the name PT Unilab Biosciences, whose 6.01% of its shares belonged to DVLA and total assets reached IDR 34.62 billion as of September 2021. DVLA’s portion in EBI kept decreasing from the initial position of 20% in 2015. The dilution occurs due to DVLA’s inactivity in the increase of issued and paid-up capital arranged by its shareholders, Unilab Biosciences Corporation Hong Kong Limited and PT Optel International.

As of September 2021, Darya Varia collected revenue of IDR 1.57 trillion, climbing from IDR 1.28 trillion in the same period last year. Its gross profit shifted to IDR 837.93 billion, increasing from IDR 659.70 billion, while its operating profit and its current year’s profit also proliferated to IDR 342.40 billion and IDR 286.06 billion each from IDR 189.45 billion and IDR 147.29 billion, respectively.
