JAKARTA – PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC) would take over the management of Kapal Roro Port of PT Pelindo Regional I of Belawan Port Branch (Pelindo Belawan). This cooperation with Pelindo Belawan follows the merge of PT Pelindo I into PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero).
Sofyan Gumelar, Corporate Secretary of Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal, explained that the partnership scheme between the company and Pelindo Belawan manifests in a revenue sharing of the operations in Roro Terminal facilities and vehicle activities in Belawan Port. “Pelindo Belawan grants an operational right to IPCC to manage Roro Terminal and vehicles in Belawan Port,” he added in the information disclosure, quoted Tuesday (14/12).
According to Gumelar, the partnership of Roro Terminal of Belawan Port signed last week (10/12) is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on November 16, 2021. The said agreement include the management of stevedoring services, stacking services, ship docking services, operation planning at the agreed object, stevedoring supervision shipping services, and outsourcing services.
