Archipelago divested its shares in AVIA for IDR 1.55 trillion

JAKARTA – Archipelago Investment Private Limited, Singapore, has been detected to sell its shares n PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) for IDR 1.55 trillion in a transaction occurring last week (8/12).

Kurnia Hadi Sinanto, Corporate Secretary of Avia Avian, confirmed that Archipelago had sold 1,672,606,700 shares for IDR 930 each. “The ownership of Archipelago is reduced by 2.70% to 6.30% o 3,902,748,900 shares from 9% or 5,575,355,600 shares,” he specified further in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (15/12).

As previously mentioned, AVIA debuted in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by listing 61,953,555,600 shares last week (8/12). The recorded shares comprise the founders’ portion of 55,753,555,600 shares of IDR 10 each and the offered shares of 6.2 billion units for IDR 930 per share.

Right after its initial recording in the stock exchange, other shareholders were reported to conduct the same divestment. For example, PT Tancorp Surya sold its portion for IDR 1.77 trillion, Rudi Tanoko IDR 81.67 billion, and PT Wahana Lingkar Rejeki (WLR) of IDR 1.57 trillion. (LK/ZH)
