Berkah Multi Beton divested 8.02% of its shares in BEBS

JAKARTA – PT Berkah Multi Beton (BMB) sold its portion of 8.02% placed in PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS) within eight separate transactions taking place from November until last week (7/12). Hasan Muldani, President Director of Berkah Beton Sadaya, confirmed the news in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (16/12).

The total number of transferred shares within those eight transactions was 722 million shares, sporting a price of IDR 2,698 each. Once calculated, BMB gained fresh funds of IDR 1.94 trillion in total. Then, after this shares divestment, BMB’s portion would drop to 20.7% or 1,863,300,000 shares from the initial 28.73% or 2,585,300,000 shares.

As of November 2021, BEBS’s total shares amounted to 9 billion units, 35.4% of which went to PT Berkah Global. BMB claimed another 20.98%, public investors (below 5%) 30.02%, while the commissioners and directors owned 5.80%. Lastly, aside from the controlling and ultimate shareholder, individual shareholders had the remaining 7.8%. (LK/ZH)
