JAKARTA – PT Hensel Davest Indonesia Tbk (HDIT) made another investment of IDR 63.54 billion in PT Biropay Indoteknologi Global (BIG). It is intended to increase the agility of the said subsidiary in developing its business, which could bring additional value to the company.
Ferdiana Tjahyadi, Corporate Secretary of Hensel Davest Indonesia, explained that the total shares owned by HDIT in BIG amounted to 635,499,995 units, equivalent to 99.99%. BIG is a payment gateway provider established in 2018 and headquartered in Makassar, South Sulawesi.
HDIT runs in the durable and non-durable goods trading service with a business portfolio in financial technology, e-commerce, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, and remittance services. Its total shares reach 1,524,680,000 shares as of September 2021, 65.65% of which belong to PT Davest Investama. PT Anugerah Indonesia claims another 8.62%, while the public has 25%. (LK/ZH)
