JAKARTA - PT Dua Putra Utama Makmur Tbk (DPUM) targets four countries as export destinations for processed fish products to boost sales in 2022. Until now, the target countries for DPUM's market are Japan, China and Australia.

In a public expose quoted on Friday (12/17), Simon Aroshoky, Corporate Secretary of PT Dua Putra Utama Makmur Tbk (DPUM) said that his party had built companies that would become partners in the United States (US), Canada, Singapore and Malaysia. "Market expansion to new destination countries is carried out by product innovation so that it can be widely accepted in the market," he said.

According to him, expanding market share is expected to boost sales. Last year, cooperation with companies in China and Japan succeeded in increasing sales, where Japan contributed 86% of export sales. Since collaborating with China in August 2021, the company is optimistic that it will achieve sales of IDR 160 billion, above the previous target of IDR 145 billion. (LK/LM)
