Protelindo obtained IDR 500 billion loans from Bank Danamon

JAKARTA. PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), received a term-loan facility worth IDR 500 billion from PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN).

Irfan Ghazali, Corporate Secretary of TOWR, confirmed that the agreement regarding the said loan facility was signed with BDMN on December 21, 2021. “The intention behind this loan facility is to cover Protelindo’s general needs,” he said in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

On the same occasion, Ghazali also revealed that the said term-loan would mature by December 21, 2026. However, the interest rate agreed by the two companies was not disclosed.

According to idnfinancials.com, Protelindo currently undergoes refinancing processes of bank debts worth IDR 3.05 trillion. The refinancing was conducted using the proceeds gained from the issuance of the Shelf-Registration Bond II Phase II 2021.

As of June 30, 2021, Protelindo’s total long-term bank debts that are due within a year reportedly reached IDR 2.85 trillion. Meanwhile, the total long-term liabilities of the company amounted to IDR 17.05 trillion. (KR/ZH)
