Transcoal Pacific secures a coal transportation contract worth IDR 2.1 trillion

JAKARTA. PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) has signed the coal transportation contract in Asam-asam, South Kalimantan, worth a total of IDR 2.1 trillion.

Erizal Darwis, Director of TCPI, specified that the said contract comprises coal transportation contracts of IDR 1.6 trillion and IDR 576 billion. These contracts would last for another ten years.

Darwis reaffirmed that both contracts were acquired from non-affiliates. Furthermore, these contracts are said to bring positive impacts to the company’s operational activities.

“It is because the company has gained the trust of the customers to transport their coals,” Darwis claimed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today (24/12).

Based on idnfinancials.com data, TCPI scored IDR 504 billion in revenue by the end of Q3 2021. Meanwhile, its net profit reached IDR 25.29 billion. (KR/ZH)
