Pos Indonesia issued MTN of IDR 325 billion with a double-digit interest

JAKARTA. PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), a state-owned postal company, has issued securities in the form of Medium Term Notes (MTN) with a face value of IDR 325 billion.

Based on the data inferred by idnfinancials.com, the said MTN is registered in the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (lit. Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia/KSEI) under MTN Posindo-03 Phase I Year 2021. These notes have an annual fixed interest rate of 10.50%.

The electronic distribution of these securities will take place today, December 30, 2021. Then, the first interest payment would be made on March 30, 2021. Lastly, the notes would reach due on December 30, 2024, or in three years.

Pos Indonesia has assigned PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) as the monitoring agent or trustee. Meanwhile, PT Bahana Sekuritas is appointed as the arranger of this MTN issuance.

For the record, the corporate credit profile of Pos Indonesia, as reported by Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo), a local rating agency, is currently at “idBBB+” with a Stable outlook. On July 7, 2021, Pefindo upgraded the outlook of Pos Indonesia from negative to stable as the financial profile was proven to be superior compared to the initial expectation. (KR/ZH)
