JAKARTA - PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) recorded a 153% increase in new contracts to IDR 5.6 trillion throughout 2021 from the previous year's of IDR 2.8 trillion. This increase was due to the acquisition of new contracts at the end of 2021 amounting to IDR 280 billion from the mining development and civil work sectors.

In an information disclosure quoted on Wednesday (5/1), Rully Noviandar, President Director of PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) said that the acquisition of new contracts exceeded the target for 2021, which was close to reaching the contract achievement in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic. "This achievement makes us optimistic about obtaining a new contract in 2022," he said.

According to him, the composition of the new contracts obtained came from mining services 53% and civil work 41%. Based on the composition of project ownership, internal projects are 13% and 87% external.

This year, PPRE targets new contracts to grow 10% compared to 2021, of which the main contributors are still mining services, civil work, and production plants supporting civil work projects from national strategic projects. "We are targeting the growth of new contracts supported by mining services, especially the nickel sector which promises to develop mining and smelter infrastructure," he said. (LK/LM)
