Bank Mega leases asset to affiliated company for IDR 2.92 billion

JAKARTA. PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA), an issuer owned by CT Corporation, has signed an asset lease agreement in the form of an area of ​​211.5 square meters in the Menara Bank Mega Building to an affiliated company worth IDR 2.92 billion.

The agreed area rental agreement will last for 60 months or until January 2, 2027. The total rental fee agreed by both parties per month is IDR 48.65 million for the entire area.

Kostaman Thayib, President Director of MEGA, explained that the area was leased to PT Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBHI). The affiliation relationship between MEGA and BBHI is formed because both are owned by the same shareholder, namely PT Mega Corpora.

"With this effort, it is hoped that it will provide economic benefits to office buildings owned by the company," said Thayib through information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

According to data from idnfinancials.com, Mega Corpora controls 58.02% of MEGA's shares. Then 5.70% of MEGA's shares are owned by PT Indolife Pensiontama and the remaining 36.28% is owned by public investors. Meanwhile, 90% of BBHI's shares are controlled by Mega Corpora and 10% of shares are owned by public investors. (KR/LM)
