JAKARTA. A logistic company, PT Satria Antaran Prima Tbk (SAPX), has allocated the capital expenditure budget of IDR 170 billion in 2022 to fund its expansion plan.

Budiyanto Darmastono, President Director of Satria Antaran Prima, said that his company plans to utilise the said budget to acquire a warehouse, introduce a new branch, purchase new vehicles, fund IT investments, and stock up office supplies. Additionally, the CapEx will be used to enhance its infrastructure network by opening up new potential branch offices, especially in Java, Bali, Sumatra, and other promising locations.

According to Darmastono, the company has also prepared several strategies, such as increasing sales teams in branch offices so that it can generate its own income and thus become a profit centre. “We will keep developing fulfilment attempts in SAP Express’s hubs across Indonesia and explore e-commerce and social commerce segments, including marketplaces,” he further stated.

In order to handle this C2C niche, the company will add 3,000-4,000 new retail counters to the currently existing 8,500 counters. (AM/ZH)
