Suryandy Jahya divested his portion for IDR 39.6 billion in KREN

JAKARTA – Suryandy Jahya, a shareholder and the Director of PT Kresna Graha Investama Tbk (KREN), sold off 2.19% of his shares in the company worth IDR 39.6 billion. The purpose of this divestment is to realise the company’s investment.

In the information disclosure quoted Monday (10/1), it is said that after this transaction, Suryandy Jahya’s shares deplete to 499,601,750 shares, or 2.75%, from 899,601,750 shares of 4.94%. The selling price of those 400 million units is set to IDR 99 each, concluded in a transaction taking place last week (5/1).

In December 2021, KREN’s shares amounted to 18,208,470,100 units, 16.21% of which belonged to PT Kresna Prima Invest. Then, PT Asuransi Jiwa Kresna claimed another 13.77%, while public investors shared 70.01%. KREN’s boards of commissioners and directors who have portions less than 5% are Michael Steven of 4.63% and Suryandy Jahya of 4.94%

Suryandy Jahya is known as one of the founders of KREN, taking office as directors of affiliated companies, such as PT M Cash Integrasi, PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX), and PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMXX). Jahya graduated from the faculty of Computer Technology of New South Wales University, Australia. (LK/ZH)
