Succeeding its rights issue, Yelooo Integra acquires an ISP company

JAKARTA. PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk (YELO), an internet modem rental service, has acquired 49% of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) company, PT Telemedia Komunikasi Pratama.

Wewy Suwanto, President Director of YELO, confirmed that the acquisition was done by purchasing 147 shares of Telemedia Komunikasi Pratama for IDR 1 million each. Thus, the transaction taking place on January 7, 2022, was worth IDR 147 million in total.

“In the future, this transaction is expected to improve the company’s business activities,” Suwanto claimed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

On the same occasion, Suwanto also revealed that Telemedia Komunikasi Pratama is a Karawang-based company engaged in the ISP business. He further reaffirmed that his company has no affiliations with the newly acquired company.

Based on idnfinancials.com data, Telemedia Komunikasi Pratama offers a fibre optic internet service with a speed of up to 100 Mbps under the brand Viberlink. The service is offered for a price ranging from IDR 5 thousand/day to IDR 499 thousand/month.

In November 2021, YELO issued 1.83 billion new shares for IDR 157 each in a rights issue. It was intended to gain capital support to promote the company’s business vision. (KR/ZH)
