12 January 2022 08:42

JAKARTA – PT Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk (BUKK) increases the capital of PT Bukaka Mega Investama (BMI) gradually until it totals IDR 1.5 trillion. The additional investment will be channelled to BMI’s subsidiary, PT Kerinci Merangin Hydro (KMH) in order to facilitate the construction of the Kerinci Hydropower Plant (lit. Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air/PLTA) in Jambi.

In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (12/1), Irsal Kamarudin, President Director of Bukaka Teknik Utama, claimed that the said capital investment equals 47.84% of BUKK’s total equity as of September 2021 of IDR 3.13 trillion. “The company does not need to submit an appraisal report as BMI is 99% controlled by the company,” he reaffirmed.

For the record, Suhaeli Kalla, President Commissioner of BUKK, also takes office as a Commissioner of BMI. Teguh Wicaksana Sari and Afifudin Suhaeli also act as directors of BUKK and BMI.

According to Kamarudin, the injected capital investment to BMI hopefully could drive the revenue increase through BMI’s portion planted in KMH. “KMH is currently initiating the construction of PLTA Kerinci, Jambi,” he confirmed. (LK/ZH)
