JAKARTA. Two investors with the highest portions in PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP), PT Fersindo Nusaperkasa and AirAsia Aviation Limited, divested 6% of their shares to the public to meet the requirement set by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Indah Permatasari Saugi, Director and Corporate Secretary of CMPP, claimed that the divested shares amounted to 3% each, approximately 320.63 million shares. All these shares were sold to third parties through a transaction in a negotiation market last Monday (17/1).

“In order to meet the IDX regulations No I-A Condition V.1 regarding the minimum public ownership of 7.5% in a company, Saugi said in the information disclosure.

After this divestment, AirAsia Aviation’s portion in CMPP depletes to 46.25%, while Fersindo Nusaperkasa’s drops to 46.16%. Meanwhile, public investors now could share 7.59% of the shares.

On January 17, 2022, CMPP’s stock price was closed at IDR 476 per share. Thus, AirAsia Aviation and Fersindo Nusaperkasa are estimated to collect fresh funds of IDR 152.6 billion each. (KR/ZH)
