JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) and Danareksa collaborate to launch an acceleration program. It will offer opportunities to investors to acquire property inventories owned, controlled, and managed by state-owned enterprises (BUMN) through a property inventory sales scheme (asset monetisation).
In this program, WSKT lists five property inventories under PT Waskita Karya Realty, its subsidiary, to be offered in bulk, both in clusters or standalone. The property inventories in question include apartments, commercial areas, and landbanks in South Tangerang, Surabaya, and Bali.
Ratna Ningrum, SVP Corporate Secretary, explains that this asset monetisation program will significantly impact the financial condition of both PT Waskita Karya Realty and Waskita Group at large. The return gained from this program will be used to fund other investments in 2022.
The product launch will take place in the first week of February 2022. Interested investors might register then join the investor gathering session in the second week of February 2022. Ningrum revealed this plan in the official release yesterday (19/1).
Ningrum is also optimistic regarding this acceleration program as last year, this program had resulted in a massive jump in its net profit in the first half of 2021 to IDR 26 trillion from IDR 6 trillion reported in the first half of 2020. (AM/ZH)
