26 January 2022 07:23

JAKARTA – The bankruptcy claim or the suspension of debt payment obligation (lit. Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang/PKPU) filed by the creditor of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL) ended in reconciliation after undergoing a creditor meeting in the Semarang District Court yesterday (25/1). Corporate Secretary of SRIL, Welly Salam, reported the news in the information disclosure Wednesday (26/1).

“The proceeding of the panel of judges on Tuesday (25/1) stated that the reconciliation plan submitted by the company and its subsidiaries during the creditor meeting in Semarang District Court was homologated,” Salam confirmed.

According to Salam, with the homologation, SRIL and its subsidiaries are no longer deemed in the PKPU state. The subsidiaries in question are PT Sinar Pantja Djaja, PT Bitratex Industries, and PT Primayudha Mandirijaya.

As previously known, SRIL faced a lawsuit from several creditors, including CV Prima Karya, filed in the Semarang District Court on April 19, 2021, claiming IDR 5.5 billion. (LK/ZH)
