JAKARTA. PT Batavia Prosperindo Finance Tbk (BPFI), the financing company under Goldstar Investment and Malacca Trust, announces its bonus shares distribution next month with a ratio of 2:1.

The said plan aligns with the outcome of the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting last week in Jakarta. In this meeting, BPFI shareholders agree to capitalise on the stock premium worth IDR 89.13 billion. The capitalisation will take effect in the form of distributing bonus shares with a face value of IDR 100 each.

“Every two shares owned by the listed shareholders by February 2, 2022 (recording date) will gain one bonus share, taken out of the stock premium,” the management of BPFI explained in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Based on idnfinancials.com data, 74.33% of BPFI’s shares are currently under the control of PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk (BPII). Meanwhile, 47.72% of BPII’s shares belong to Goldstar Investment, and Malacca Trust owns another 35.29%. (KR/ZH)
