Star Pacific to reassign land and building worth IDR 368 billion to NOBU

JAKARTA – PT Star Pacific Tbk (LPLI) transfers Graha Lippo bulding and its land in Tangerang, Banten, worth IDR 368 billion as an investment placed in the rights issue of PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU).

Lukman Djaja, President Director of Star Pacific, confirmed that the asset transfer was considered as a non-cash investment (inbreng scheme) regarding NOBU’s rights issue plan. “The company and NOBU agree that the acquisition and the transfer of the said asset will be conducted without cash payment, covering 446,601,942 new shares that NOBU will offer,” he said in the press release quoted Wednesday (26/1).

Graha Lippo and the land plot reassigned to NOBU each are 2,695 m2 and 2,062 m2, respectively. The asset transfer agreement was signed earlier this week (24/1). The transaction value equals 37.15% of LPLI’s equity of IDR 990.39 billion as of October 2021.

LPLI’s shares as of December 2021 amounted to 1,170,432,803 shares, 57.01% of which belonged to PT Inti Anugerah Pratama (IAP). Then, PT Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk claimed another 20.05%, followed by the public of 22.94%. LPLI and NOBU are affiliated due to the shared controlling shareholder. (LK/ZH)
