WSBP to wrap up Manggis Terminal renovation in April 2022

JAKARTA – PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) targets the renovation of a breasting dolphin with a capacity of 6,500 dead-weight tons (DWT) at the Integrated Dock of Manggis Terminal, Bali, to complete by April 2022. As of early January 2022, the said project has reached 73.2% of progression.

Sugiharto, Director of Business Development of Waskita Beton Precast, explained that the Manggis Dock, Bali project includes demolition, construction, equipment, and testing. “It is to replace the previously broken breasting dolphin,” he said in the press release quoted Thursday (27/1).

According to Sugiharto, the said project is commissioned by the Directorate of Retail Marketing, Marketing Operation Office of Region V of PT Pertamina (Persero). Currently, the company is developing a partnership with state-owned enterprises (BUMN) to expand WSBP’s market.

This year, WSBP aims to secure new contracts of IDR 3.5 trillion. The goal will be met through several infrastructure projects, including the dam, transmission, and railway tracks. (LK/ZH)
