JAKARTA. The latex glove mold manufacturer, PT Mark Dynamics Indonesia Tbk (MARK), reported a fantastic revenue increase of 100% last year. Thus, this year, the company aims for even higher sales by expanding its user base to the United States.
“It is safe to say that 2021 gains were the most outstanding and the highest of all time,” Ridwan Goh, President Director of Mark Dynamics Indonesia, claimed as quoted by Bisnis last week.
According to Goh, as the single-player in the glove mold manufacturing field, MARK’s performances kept riding the positive trend. In 2021, MARK scored IDR 1.1 trillion in sales, proliferating 100% from 2020 sales of IDR 565 billion. As a result, its net profit reached IDR 397 billion, significantly increasing from the net profit in 2020 of IDR 144 billion.
In the past years, there had been records of three US-based customers that had received glove molds manufactured by MARK. This year, in 2022, MARK will answer the demands from 13 US-based customers. “Last year, the China market expansion earned us a 20%-30% increase in customers. This year, the prospect might turn to the US,” Goh explained. (AM/ZH)
