JAKARTA. PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) reported a net profit of IDR 1.26 trillion throughout 2021, climbing 35% year-on-year (yoy) from the same period last year.
This growth is maintained by SIDO’s sales that reached IDR 4.02 trillion in 2021. Furthermore, according to the recently released financial report, SIDO’s sales in this period were seen moving up by 20.55% yoy.
Based on its segments, herbal medicine and health supplements became the top contributor to SIDO’s primary sales, generating IDR 2.69 trillion in total. Meanwhile, sales of food and beverage products brought in IDR 1.19 trillion, followed by pharmaceutical products of IDR 137.15 billion.
With this notable performance, the ratio of EBITDA to sales of SIDO improved to 36.32% in 2021. In the past year, the ratio of EBITDA to the company’s sales only arrived at 28.99%.
SIDO’s total assets reportedly amounted to IDR 4.07 trillion as of December 31, 2021. Meanwhile, its equity clocked up at IDR 3.47 trillion, growing 7.7% from the amount reported in 2020 of IDR 3.22 trillion. (KR/ZH)
