Arwana aims for 8% sales growth in 2022

JAKARTA. PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) sets the target of sales growth to 8% in 2022 following the prediction of the increased average selling price of its products of 1.8%  and its sales volume of 6.3%.

Rudy Sujanto, Chief Financial Officer of ARNA, explained that his company targets to sell 72 million m2 of ceramic tiles this year, higher than the sales volume in 2021 of 67.7 million m2. With the production volume of 72 million m2 this year, he projected an increase in sales of 8% and profit growth of 30%. He mentioned his visions as quoted by Kontan this week.

In 2021, ARNA’s net sales amounted to IDR 2.55 trillion, soaring 15.38% compared to the previous year’s gains of IDR 2.21 trillion. Then, its net profit in 2021 reached IDR 470.90 billion.

Then, this year, ARNA allocates IDR 300 billion to its capital expenditure (CapEx). It indeed is preparing several work plans, including establishing a new production line, Plant 5C (P5C), which will manufacture glazed porcelain, possibly operating in early 2023. Then, it also wants to build Plant 4C (P4C), scheduled to kick off by the end of 2023. (AM/ZH)
