JAKARTA – PT Prima Cakrawala Abadi Tbk (PCAR), a processed seafood manufacturer, restructures its debts of IDR 20.43 billion owed to two different creditors, Erry Firmansyah and PT Astro Media Indonesia (AMI). The company and these creditors are not affiliated.

Titi Indah Susilowati, Corporate Secretary of Prima Cakrawala Abadi, said that the company gained extra time to pay back its debts and only needed to pay the fine for an overdue payment of 0.05% per day. “With the release of the guarantee by the creditors, the company can utilise its assets to expand its business,” she added in the information disclosure quoted Friday (18/2).

PCAR’s debts to Erry Firmansyah are worth IDR 7.75 billion. The restructuring process allows for the instalment in four stages until 2024. The creditor returns all guarantees of the company, and the payment overdue is capped at 14 days. Meanwhile, PCAR’s debts to AMI amount to IDR 12.68 billion, with the debt principal being paid in six instalments until 2026. The interest is non-existent, but the payment overdue is set to 14 days, max. (LK/ZH)
