Indorama export sales lifted its revenue by 50% in 2021

JAKARTA. Sales in the export market boosted the revenue of PT Indorama Synthetics Tbk (INDR) by 50.09% to USD 884.10 million last year, enabling the company to gain USD 84.56 million in its net profit.

The company’s Financial Report of 2021 published in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) yesterday (23/2) revealed that the international market still supported most INDR’s performance in 2021. It brought in sales of USD 540.41 million, proliferating 49.27% from the sales in 2020 of USD 362.03 million. On the other hand, local sales generated USD 344.5 million, shifting 50.26% year-on-year (yoy).

The Asia market still led the export sales of INDR, contributing USD 333.46 million. Europe followed with USD 108.32 million, preceding North America of USD 68.46 million, South America of USD 28.80 million, and other regions of USD 67.60 million.

As the revenue soared, the company also recorded increases in expenses, such as cost of revenue and selling expenses, which allowed INDR to score USD 84.56 million by the end of 2021. (AM/ZH)
