DRMA boosts production while maintaining employee’s health

24 February 2022 11:59

JAKARTA - PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA), a listed manufacturing company engaged in automotive components, continues to improve its ability to produce components in line with the influx of new product demands from consumers. To achieve this, DRMA has expanded its factory construction and purchased new machines with a total fund of around IDR 247 billion this year. These actions are reasonable considering the recent revival of the national automotive industry, seen from the sales target set by the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) and the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), where Gaikindo targets sales of four-wheeled vehicles to reach 900,000 units. Meanwhile, AISI targets sales of two-wheeled vehicles to reach 5.1 million—5.4 million units this year.

“The President Director of DRMA, Irianto Santoso, said, “Considering the achievements and performance of the Company last January, we are optimistic that we will be able to achieve double digit sales growth and net profit for this year. To achieve this target, we have to everything, both from a technical side, such as building factories and buying new machines to non-technical side, especially regarding the rise of the Covid-19 omicron variant at the beginning of this year. To anticipate, the Company continues to hold Covid-19 booster vaccinations for all members and employees of the Dharma Group.

Previously, on February 18, the Company held a Covid-19 booster vaccination for all Dharma Group members and employees located in Delta Silicon, Cikarang Bekasi. This vaccination is a continuation of the Mutual Cooperation Vaccine program that has been held by DRMA since 2021. In collaboration with Daya Medika as a provider and vaccinator, this activity is intended to increase the herd immunity of workers in the Company's area.

In addition, to cope with and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, especially in the work environment. DRMA also continues to enforce health protocols according to the rules, such as the use of masks, mandatory hand washing with water/hand sanitizer, maintaining distance, checking temperature every time you enter work, limiting public areas such as rest areas, worship areas, smoking areas, dining areas, work areas, spraying sanitation every morning and evening and others.
