JAKARTA – PT Mora Telematika Indonesia (Moratelindo) reported revenue of IDR 4.18 trillion in 2021, higher than IDR 3.76 trillion in 2020. The performance in 2021 signified a complete revenue upturn compared to the number reported in 2019 of IDR 4.06 trillion.
In the 2021 Financial Report quoted today (24/2), Galumbang Menak, President Director of PT Moratelindo, said that the contribution from the contract with the telecommunication provider segment amounted to IDR 2.36 trillion. It increased from IDR 2.05 trillion in 2020. Meanwhile, the income from the contract with non-telecommunication providers reached IDR 1.79 trillion, growing from IDR 1.72 trillion.
The contract with telecommunication providers encompasses domestic, internet, international, and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) networks. On the other hand, the non-telecommunication provider segment earned income from concession projects, data centres, and the construction of service concessions.
The operating profit clocked up to IDR 1.54 trillion, slowing down from IDR 1.57 trillion in 2020 due to the increased direct and operating expenses. Meanwhile, earnings before tax income reached IDR 788.77 billion, moving up from IDR 789.57 billion, following the increased interest income and gains from currency exchange.
Furthermore, the current year’s profit was pegged at IDR 671.37 billion, decreasing from IDR 679.67 billion due to the increased tax expenses. Meanwhile, the comprehensive profit attributable to the parent company amounted to IDR 590.01 billion, depleting from IDR 913.11 billion. However, it still arrived higher than the gain in 2019 of only IDR 578.83 billion. (LK/ZH)
