JAKARTA. The directors of PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA) are optimistic that in 2022, the company can attain double-digit increases in revenue and net profit.
Irianto Santoso, President Director of DRMA, claimed that in order to reach that objective, his company established a production facility and purchased several new machines. As a result, this automotive component manufacturer had realised its capital expenditure budget of IDR 247 billion.
“We are optimistic about securing double-digit sales and net profit growth this year,” Santoso stated in the press release yesterday (24/2). His confidence is also further supported by the fact that the company had recorded sales of IDR 3 trillion last year, proliferating 50% from the achievements in 2020.
According to Santoso, his company initiated the purchase of machines and factory establishment following the recovery trend in the national automotive industry these days. It is also reflected in the sales target of the Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) for four-wheelers of 900,000 units and the sales target of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association of up to 5.4 million units this year.
