Sri Mulyani authorised 21 candidates of Commissioners of OJK 2022-2027

JAKARTA – Sri Mulyani Indrawati, the Minister of Finance and the Head of the 2022-2027 Board of Commissioners of Financial Services Authority (OJK) Selection Committee, proceeded with 21 names following the interview stage/Phase IV. The said decision was made by Sri Mulyani today (7/3) in Jakarta.

In the press release quoted Monday (7/3), the names that made it through the selection will be placed in various positions in OJK. These spots include the Chairman of OJK, the Vice Chairman of the Ethics Committee, the Executive Head of the Capital Market Supervisor, the Executive Head of Insurance, Pension Funds, Financing Institutions, and Other Financial Services Institutions Supervisor, the Head of Auditor Boards, and members in the Consumer Education and Protection division.

Mahendra Siregar, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, who also once was the Vice Minister of Trade, is qualified as the candidate for the Chairman of OJK alongside Darwin Cyril Noerhari and Iskandar Simorangkir. Mirza Adityaswara, the former Senior Governor Deputy of Bank Indonesia from 2013 to 2019 and a member of the OJK Board of Commissioners from 2015 to 2019, might potentially secure the position of the Vice-Chairman of the Ethics Committee. Furthermore, Inarno Sjajadi, President Director of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), is currently listed as the candidate for the Executive Head of the Capital Market Supervisor, while Friderica Widyasari Dewi, the former Chairman of KSEI (lit. Indonesia Central Securities Depository), is registered as the potential member of the Consumer Education and Protection division. (LK/ZH)
