JAKARTA. The net profit of PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) skyrocketed 131.3% as its revenue climbed 41.6%. It also reported an increase in the number of customers, which contributed to the soaring revenue.

Dewi Muliaty, President Director of Prodia Widyahusada, claimed that despite neverending challenges in 2021, the company managed to end the year with net profit growth. PRDA also successfully maintained its profitability while still prioritising security, health, and safety of its employees and users.

In 2021, the net revenue of PRDA increased 41.6% to IDR 2.65 trillion from IDR 1.87 trillion reported in 2020. The number of users showed a massive upturn and contributed significantly to the revenue of the company. Individual and doctor-reference patients both covered 33.8% and 31.4%, respectively, of the total revenue. Then, third-party reference patients and corporate clients supported 21.2% and 13.6% of the total revenue.

The accomplishment of the company in reducing costs and expenses then fueled the net profit to proliferate 131.3% to IDR 621.62 billion. “This gain reflects the sustainability of the business model, the solid core business, and operational excellence of Prodia,” Muliaty claimed further in the press release issued earlier this week.
