SMSM’s controller divested its shares for IDR 149.76 billion

JAKARTA – PT Adrindo Inti Perkasa (AIP) sold 115.20 million units of its shares in PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (SMSM) for IDR 149.76 billion earlier this week (22/3). Ang Andri Pribadi, Financial Director of Selamat Sempuna relayed the news in the information disclosure quoted Thursday (24/3).

“The number of shares after this transaction was depleted 2%, from 55.41% or 3,191,109,708 shares to 53.41% or 3,075,909,708 shares. The price during the transaction was set to IDR 1,300 per share,” Pribadi explained in detail.

On March 4, 2022, AIP had also divested 156,154,000 shares for IDR 1,300 each, totalling IDR 203 billion. After that transaction, AIP’s portion in SMSM dropped 2.71% from 58.13% to 55.41%. With this transaction, the company aims to improve SMSM’s stock liquidity in the stock exchange.

As of February 2022, SMSM’s shares reportedly reached 5,758,675,440 units, 58.13% of which belonged to AIP, while the public shared the remaining 41.87%. (LK/ZH)
