Hisense and MCAS introduce IDB to take on digital signage market

JAKARTA. Hisense, a China-based electronic manufacturer, pairs up with one of subsidiaries of PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (MCAS), V2 Indonesia, to introduce an interactive whiteboard or interactive digital board (IDB) to face the digital signage market.

The production process of this board will be carried out by Hisense, while V2 Indonesia will act as the official distributor of the said device in Indonesia. It will also provide a system-as-a-service (SaaS) scheme.

Not only eyeing the retail segment, Hisense and V2 Indonesia also targets the corporate segment by offering periodic service and content management system. “As the digital technology company that focuses on high-class products, specifically in the audio-visual industry, we are honoured to collaborate with Hisense, which possesses the same vision regarding the innovation and leadership in the digital AV ecosystem,” Rudi Hidayat, CEO of V2 Indonesia, stated in the official relase.

On the other hand, Yudhistira Pangaji, Director of B2B of PT Hisense International Indonesia, claimed that his company have been cooperated with V2 Indonesia since 2021. “We believe this year will be the moment to extend our partnership to our Series M of signage as both parties acknowledge the market potential to be realised side by side. It also might bring forth the additional value to the Indonesian market,” he further explained.

For the record, V2 Indonesia worked with PT Digital Media Tama Maxima Tbk (DMMX) in operating the end-to-end digital signage. DMMX is a company under MCAS through PT NFC Indonesia (NFCX). (KR/ZH)
