JAKARTA – Eric Budisetio Kurniawan injected more investment in PT Sinergi Inti Plastindo Tbk (ESIP) by IDR 29.40 billion after purchasing 330,342,062 shares for IDR 89 each. This additional investment was channelled out during the rights issue period from March 15 to 23, 2022.
In the information disclosure quoted Friday (24/3), it is stated that Eric Budisetio Kurniawan is the President Director of ESIP. Prior to this transaction, his portion in the company clocked up to 11% of the total issued and paid-up capital of the company. Now, after the transaction took place, his shares proliferate from 70,406,000 shares to 400,748,062 shares.
In the rights issue prospectus, the realisation of the stock purchase made by Kurniawan is said to reach 311,524,399 shares, comprising 51,631,066 shares of his own and the reassigned shares of 259,893,333 units from PT Tanindo Omega Plastik (TOP). As the controller of 55.34% of ESIP, TOP announced the transfer of its shares to Kurniawan in this rights issue.
ESIP is known to have offered 469,588,317 shares in a rights issue for IDR 89 each. The target of the proceeds was set to IDR 41.79 billion, which will be used to boost new factory utilisation in Tiga Raksa, Tangerang from 50% to 90%, as well as purchase raw materials. (LK/ZH)
