JAKARTA. PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) recorded sales of 1,058 units of tractors throughout the first two months of 2022. They proliferated from the same period in 2021 of only 416 units.
In the official release quoted Sunday (27/3), Sara Loebis, Corporate Secretary of UNTR, claimed that February sales clocked up to 528 units, covering 30% of the total two-months sales.
The sales throughout the last two months were generated from the mining sector, contributing 57% of the sales. Then, the forestry sector brought in 15%, the construction sector 18%, and the agro sector 10%.
In its mining sector, managed by Pamapersada Nusantara, the coal production was detected declining to 15.3 million tons by the end of February 2022 from 17.3 million tons by the end of February 2021. The coal sales volume of Tuah Turangga Agung were also depleted from 2.60 million tons in February 2021 (year-to-date/ytd) to 1.83 million tons in February 2022 ytd. On the other hand, the gold sales of UNTR clocked up to 25,000 GEOs. (AM/ZH)
