JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) on Thursday (24/03) closed at 7,049,685 and was the highest record of all time. JCI last week closed at 7,002.532, an increase of 0.68 percent from the position of 6,954,965 at the closing in the previous week.
The stock exchange market capitalization also recorded an increase of 0.93 percent to Rp 8,812,308 trillion from Rp 8,731,255 trillion in the previous week. Then, the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange also increased by 14.50 percent to 25.137 billion shares from 21.954 billion shares in the previous week.
Changes occurred in the average daily frequency of the Exchange by 3.80 percent to 1,282,303 transactions from 1,332,906 transactions at the close of last week. In addition, the average daily transaction value of the Exchange also changed by 15.33 percent to Rp. 13.975 trillion from Rp. 16.506 trillion in the previous week.
Foreign investors on Friday recorded a net purchase value of IDR 1.219 trillion and throughout 2022 foreign investors recorded a net purchase of IDR 28.724 trillion. (LM)
