JAKARTA. PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOMF), a financing company under PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII), arranges the distribution of cash dividends of IDR 9.5 per share or IDR 9.95 billion in total.
The total cash dividends to be distributed will be equal to 30% of the net profit scored in 2021 of IDR 33.18 billion. This plan gained approval from the General Shareholders Meeting on March 24, 2022.
The cum dividend in the regular and negotiation market is scheduled for April 1, 2022, and the cum date for the cash market will fall on April 5, 2022. The dividend payment will be channelled out on April 27, 2022.
Based on idnfinancials.com data, BNII controls 67.49% of WOMF’s shares, leaving another 25.01% to PT Wahana Makmur Sejati. Public investors claim the rest of it, which amounted to 7.50% of the shares.
In addition to discussing the dividend distribution, the meeting also called for allocating the remaining net profit into retained earnings. In 2021, its net profit was mainly supported by its revenue, which reached a whopping IDR 245.40 billion. (KR/ZH)
