JAKARTA - PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO), a public company and manufacturer of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK), managed to record growth throughout 2021. CLEO recorded an increase in profit for the year which became IDR180 billion or increased by 36.1% compared to the same period in 2020 which reached IDR132 billion. This increase was driven by CLEO's performance which continues to maintain product quality and increase product distribution to fulfill the needs of drinking water in Indonesia.

Melisa Patricia, CLEO's Deputy President, and Director remarked, " Melisa Patricia as Deputy President Director of CLEO explained, "We are grateful that despite the strictly restricted conditions due to the Covid19, there is still good hope for the bottled drinking water industry such as CLEO where we managed to record sales of IDR1.1 trillion or grew 13.5% compared to the previous year. This increase is inseparable from the Company's efforts to maintain the trust of its customers in the products provided, thereby making the demand for CLEO products continue to increase. To be able to meet the drinking water needs of the Indonesian people continuously, we continue to expand by aggressively opening factories outside the Java region to expand the distribution range of our products.”

In addition to expanding distribution coverage, the commencing of these factories is also an effort by the Company to make savings on shipping costs. As for the areas of Sumatra and Kalimantan, the shipping costs to these areas tend to be high. In addition, the Company also sees that the area has a strategic location so that the distribution process can be carried out more quickly and on target and the Company also hopes that with this expansion the Indonesian people can easily reach out to various CLEO products.
