JAKARTA – PT FinAccel Teknologi Indonesia (FTI) formally claims 70% of PT Bank Bisnis Internasional Tbk (BBSI) after gaining approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regarding the acquisition of 30% of other shareholders’ portions last week (29/3).
Susanti Krisnawati, Corporate Secretary of Bank Bisnis Internasional, confirmed that FTI had taken over additional shares from Sundjono Suariadi of 15%, PT Sun Land Investama of 13.78%, and PT Sun Antranusa Investment of 0.95%. “The entire acquired shares amount to 992,175,292 units out of the total issued and paid-up capital,” she mentioned in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (5/4).
Prior to this corporate action, FTI’s portion clocked up to 40% of the entire issued and paid-up capital of Bank Bisnis, equivalent to 1,322,900,389 shares. FTI has an authorised capital of IDR 5 trillion, with an issued and paid-up capital of IDR 3.83 trillion. FinAccel Pte Ltd controls 99.994% of them, worth IDR 3.83 trillion, while Akshay Garg claims the small remaining 0.006% or IDR 210 million.
In the near future, FTI will also purchase 5% of other extra shares in order to meet the targeted 35% acquisition of Bank Bisnis, as proposed to OJK. (LK/ZH)
