JAKARTA - PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk (YELO) managed to record a significant increase in revenue in 2021 of IDR500.1 billion, from IDR159.9 billion in the same period last year.

This positive result primarily comes from the contribution of YELO's revenue from the sale of data packages in the domestic market from its subsidiary PT Abdi Harapan Unggul (AHU) which was acquired by the Company at the end of 2021. In 2021, revenue from Digital Products or data packages was recorded at IDR499.3 billion, a significant increase of 212% compared to the same period in the previous year of IDR159.9 billion.

The President Director of YELO, Wewy Susanto said, “Over the past year, YELO has continued to expand its business and services, one of which was the acquisition of PT Abdi Harapan Unggul (AHU). This step succeeded in making a positive contribution to the Company, so that it was able to reverse the situation from the previous loss in 2020, to profit in 2021. The company's gross profit in 2021 was recorded at IDR15.5 billion, an increase by 13X from gross profit in 2020 of IDR1.1 billion Meanwhile, in terms of net profit, YELO recorded a net profit for the year of IDR14.7 billion. This result is much better than the net profit in the same period last year, where the Company recorded a net loss of IDR1.6 billion.”

To maintain this positive performance, YELO continues to accelerate the expansion of fast and affordable internet services. This step is part of YELO's transformation as a digital fiber-optic cable-based ISP (Internet Service Provider) this year that provides fast internet at affordable prices to all corners of rural areas that spread across Java island. Through the latest service called Viberlink, the Company is optimistic that it can deliver much better performance in 2022. (LM)
