JAKARTA – PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA), a pharmaceutical company, will market and promote Betadine, the infamous antiseptic product, in the domestic market this year. This arrangement was finalised yesterday (4/4) with PT Mundhipharma Healthcare Indonesia (MHI), the previous brand holder in Indonesia.
According to Nadia Miranty Verdiana, Corporate Secretary of Pyridam Farma, the company now becomes the exclusive partner in Betadine commercial activities. “The company has a right for compensation fees, which will be calculated based on the selling price with the formula regulated in the contract,” she explained in the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (6/4).
The formula of the compensation is yet to be dislosed by the company. For the record, PYFA and MHI are not affiliated according to Law No.8//1995 regarding the Capital Market.
It is mentioned that the role of exclusive partner, according to the contract, encompasses communicating sales, supply, and utilisation of the said product, which includes offering products to and discussing it over with hospitals or other healthcare facilities like clinics and pharmacies. (LK/ZH)
